About Bhavya
Emotional complexity deserves understanding, not judgement.
Bhavya is a trauma-informed therapist who understands what it means to navigate emotional complexity—the kind that can show up in relationships, identity, grief, and the body, even when life may appear functional on the outside.
With over a decade immersed in psychology and psychotherapy, Bhavya draws on her professional training and lived experiences to create a culturally responsive and supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported. Her work encompasses mood and personality patterns, relational distress, existential concerns, gendered expectations, and losses that often go unspoken, including grief associated with life transitions.
Bhavya is also an advocate for psycho-spiritual practices such as mindfulness and breathwork. Meditation and therapy have played an important role in her own journey of healing and finding greater balance, and these perspectives inform her understanding of holistic emotional wellbeing.
Outside of her professional work, Bhavya enjoys watching feel-good television shows and movies, spending time in nature, expressive writing, reading—particularly spirituality, philosophy, and literature—and spending time with her loved ones.
Indie music, nature, meditation, and meaningful connections are some of the anchors that help her stay grounded.
